I can't help but be a little pissed off when women I know get married and they don't even consider keeping their own names. Its craziness. People act like I'm the weird one for not changing my last name that I've had for almost 27 years. They're crazy for not even taking a second to think about changing theirs. Why is it a given? Its so stupid. We're not property. You're still married. You don't need to make your poor husband feel good about himself by changing an important part of yourself when I guarantee you he would not do the same for you because he realizes that, when you really think about it, there's no point.
